Lynn Lau, Adventure Enthusiast and Planner
Growing up in an urban jungle with a family that loved traveling, Lynn would always return from a vacation craving for more. She was fortunate to travel to many different parts of the world, see different landscapes, experience different cultures and taste different foods even before entering the workforce. After moving to Michigan for college, she took every study break to travel all over the country and beyond, spending countless nights in a tent in 40 national parks.
Lynn has done it all - white water rafted in the Rio Grande (NM) and Youghiogheny (PA), crawled through the tiniest of spaces in Mammoth Caves (KY), climbed the highest mountain in Continental US (Mount Whitney, CA), dived in the Atlantic waters (U.S. Virgin Islands). An active person, she has also completed Tough Mudder, 2 marathons, an Ironman triathlon, and several adventure races. Her latest adventure took her to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in all of Africa!
Her passion is being able to share the great outdoors and knowledge of appropriate gear and equipment with others, often planning the next adventure trip for friends, meals included of course. She is Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified.
"'Shiok' is the feeling I hope you take away after coming on a trip with Shiok Adventures!"
